How To Get Your CD Noticed - Post 1: Put a Huge Exclamation Mark Inside The Cover

Inside The New Christoph Stiefel Album

If there is one CD case which has grabbed my attention this year, one album which has plonked surreptitiously through my letter box and onto the door mat below with a solid but unassuming 'thud' like all the rest and still managed to stand out, it's the new live album from pianist Christoph Stiefel. It didn't stand out to me because of any fancy, art-laiden cover or obscure manifestation, in fact the cover is a rather safe picture of Stiefel looking purposefully into camera and the packaging is a standard jewel. However, when you open up said standard jewel case and remove the CD... you are confronted by a massive exclamation mark!

As a result, due to some innate human fascination with giant, bold objects, I literally cannot wait to hear this album!

You're a sneaky one Christoph
