How Much Jazz Can I Get For £10?

Earlier, as I returned home from a laborious day of gardening work, I couldn't help but sigh contently as I stepped through the door and lazily kicked off my shoes. The pleasant tranquility of home came as welcome relief from the past 8 hours of relatively (when compared to my student life of the last few months) hard graft, and I was going to enjoy every moment of rest. Despite my apparent lack of appreciation for the great outdoors, I had been graced with the tolerable sum of £20 for my contribution to the day, and no sooner had my palms been laced with the cash than my brain started whirring into motion... right that's a tenner for some music and a tenner for a curry to eat while I listen to it! Gardening, jazz and a curry; what sort of twenty-one year old am I again?

So How Much Jazz Can I Get With £10?

Album: Be Good

Artist: Gregory Porter Price: £5.04 / Money Left: £4.96

Album: Mischief Mayhem

Artist: Jenny Scheinman Price: £3.36 / Money Left: £1.60

Album: Big Ideas (First half)

Artist: Beats & Pieces Big Bang Price: £42p x 4 / Money Left: 0

I used eMusic to get my jazz, a platform which saved me a massive £8.48 when compared to the prices on iTunes. Not bad for a day's worth of digging!

I'm a big fan of emusic too. It's particularly great for me - as I joined over a decade ago, I have "Super Special Premium" account that gives me £33.80 of credit each month for about £12. As you've pointed out, there's loads of jazz on there, and you'll make a good saving on new releases.
