I Appear To Have Been Away

The Chemical Brothers: Dig Your Own Hole - It's a great motivator

Due to the slightly unflattering combination of work, commute, commute, work, commute that my life seems to have revolved around throughout November and early December, the blog has been somewhat dormant for a whole 10 days (Because unbelievably blogging about jazz is not a full time occupation...strange I know). Now I understand that for even the most avid reader, ten days without my take on the latest UK jazz news is bearable, perhaps even a relief, but this absence of my post and metaphorical abandonment of duty has left me reeling; in short I feel lazy and overcome by a prolonged sense of genre-inspired guilt. Therefore as a direct result of my getting a grasp on working life, that rekindled passion for my blog and the perilously loud 'Chemical Brothers' album that is currently causing every non secure object to vibrate violently around my room, I've got my motivation back!

Let's get this place straightened out!
